šŸ”‘ How to Create Binance API Key

Learn how to safely create a Binance Futures API key for automated trading.

1. Log in to Binance

First, visit Binance Official Website and log in.

Warning: Be careful of phishing sites. Always verify you're on the official domain (binance.com).

2. Access API Management

  1. Click the profile icon in the top right corner
  2. Select API Management
  3. Click Create API button

3. Create API Key

  1. Enter an API key label (e.g., "OverBit Bot")
  2. Select System generated
  3. Enter 2FA verification code
  4. Click Create API button

Generated Information:

  • ā€¢ API Key: Public key (save it)
  • ā€¢ Secret Key: Private key (shown only once, store safely)

4. Configure API Permissions

Configure the API key permissions as follows:

Enable Futures - Required
Enable Reading - Required
Enable Spot & Margin Trading - Recommended
Enable Withdrawals - Disabled (Security)

5. IP Restriction Settings (Optional)

Select Unrestricted to use the API without IP restrictions:

  1. Click Edit restrictions
  2. Select Unrestricted
  3. Save settings

Disabling IP restrictions allows API access from anywhere. For security, always keep withdrawal permissions disabled.

6. Enter API Key in Dashboard

Enter the generated API key in the Settings page of our dashboard.

API keys are encrypted with AES-256 and stored securely. Never share them externally.
